How are these group assignments and presentations graded?

Well, they're graded as a group lol. Depends on the assignment. There's a rubric per assignment/presentation and a prompt that drives the assignment. Could be a case study and your groups' research on that following certain heading breakdown/question requirements.

Maybe I'm not really understanding the generalized question, but if you're asking "out of what percentage do group assignments make up your grade?", they're all weighed as "points" and they're not all necessarily out of a 100 either. I've also never failed an assignment at UIUC.

For one example, BADM 520: Marketing Management has a total of 202 points (one 2 point extra credit opportunity). There's one team assignment worth 55 points, another at 25, another at 10, 5, and another for 18 points. The rest are individual assignments.

I usually don't read much into the grading for any school honestly. I give it a quick glance, nod my head, and do the work according to the prompt and the material. This was the first time I've ever bothered to really read the grading system in this program and I only have 1 course left. My judgement is always to click on the gradebook tab at any institution and see if I got total points or not on that assignment, read the feedback, and adjust my work/writing to meet or anticipate future critique.

It's not to say the program isn't difficult, but I don't really read too much into things (aside from the material) and take things as they go as I'm engaging with the program. It has done me wonders in every program I've ever been in.
