I have no problems with the clarifications made at the bottom of the first page. That very clearly shows that this is the Brazilian equivalent of a titulo propio degree with no obfuscation made to mislead anyone. The buyer knows exactly what is offered and the first few people to get it will be rolling the dice until we find out what evaluators say about it. Fair enough.
HOWEVER, I do take issue with the way the school does business. You have to register on the website to view any worthwhile information, which is going to raise red flags for evaluators or potential employers that google the school in the future. Far worse than that, there is an intentional attempt to mislead people on the prices of two of the doctorates. The PhD in Education is listed at $100. The PhD in IT and Cybersecurity is listed at...$25?!?!?!?!? Scan the description, throw it in your cart, go through the checkout and nothing would lead you believe otherwise. The only way to see the real price is to expand the details that are intentionally hidden and read it very carefully, which will reveal the real price is $3295 and it is your responsibility to contact Unibraz to negotiate the payment plan. The ability to start for a low down payment with the balance paid before graduation could actually be a huge selling point. Intentionally deceiving me into believing the down payment is the final price is not.
Then there is the issue of the website being comically insecure, to the point that getting modern web browsers to display anything about these degrees without throwing Secure Connection Failed errors is pure RNG. Getting a doctorate in Cybersecurity from a school that can't be bothered to fix an SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG is certainly a choice. I'm sure the people responsible for that have nothing to do with the academic side of things, but it's still a very bad look.

No, this is NOT the Brazilian equivalent of a titulo proprio. This "university" is a joke. Please read my previous post, in which I present some details I found about them. I also found out that they are registered as a "micro" business, meaning they have an ANNUAL income of less than USD 70000... This is just a guy pretending to run a university. Don't fall for that!!!. Education here in Brazil is highly regulated, and the person behind this has no way of getting proper government approval for such a ventures.
P.S. I reported this "school" to the authorities (ministry of education and federal police) last week.

The idea of using the incorporation of a business as a way to demonstrate legitimacy one one's "university" is an old one. It relies on a great deal of ignorance. Fortunately, there is plenty to go around.
It is not a recognized university in Brazil.
This is not a titulo propio, a degree awarded by a recognized school, but outside it's recognized scope. This is not a recognized school. Huge distinction. Not sure if it makes much of a difference, though. Both notions are toxic.
